Lemate of New England, Inc. is a family-owned business that has proudly served liquor stores, bars and restaurants since 1977.

Our story began when our father moved from Ohio to Massachusetts and started building what would become Lemate of New England. Shortly after moving to Massachusetts, he met our mother, Marianne, and together they built their family and the family business.

Their son, Mark, and daughter, Cheryl, joined the business in 2008 and continue to carry on the family tradition today.

What began as a small family business has grown over nearly 50 years, but the way we do business has remained the same: quality products, dependable service and strong customer relationships. We’re proud that many of our customers have been with Lemate for decades.

Based in Foxboro, Massachusetts, we serve customers throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut, while continuing to expand our service throughout Maine.

Lemate Sweet & Sour Mix has been part of our family business since the beginning. When Lemate was getting started, our father bottled the original Sweet & Sour Mix himself in his grandfather’s garage.

Nearly 50 years later, Lemate Sweet & Sour continues to be made with the same great-tasting formula our customers have relied on for decades.
